So you are a minor and want to get a tattoo or a piercing? Here’s what you need to know:

We will perform a piercing on a minor aged 14-17 with parental consent.

Some of our artists will perform a tattoo on a minor aged 16-17 with parental consent.

Piercings 14 + are as follows: Ear, Nostril

Piercings 16 + are as follows: Navel, Septum & Eyebrow

Piercings 18 + for any other facial piercing and oral/tongue piercing.

What does parental consent mean?

Parental consent doesn’t just mean verbal consent. Your parent must come with you to your procedure and be present the entire time. They will also be required to bring a valid form of ID (passport, drivers license, state issued ID).

What do I need to bring?

As a minor, you will also need to bring two very important documents; your birth certificate (this is mandatory) and a photo ID.

You may use a passport or school ID. If you do not have a physical school ID, you may present your school’s online portal that will show your grade and photo.

If you only have one of the two documents, we cannot perform the procedure.

Your Identification must match your birth certificate as well as your parent (or legal guardian’s). If you have a legal guardian, they must bring guardianship papers to prove guardianship (court order).

Documents that are NOT acceptable:

driver’s permit, insurance cards, military ID.
